Boredom killed the cat

Gambit just ignored Cat and turned to Kurt instead, smiling. "Yes.. this will be a nice little trip, won't it?" he said calmly but with a hint of playful sarcasm. They all turned their heads toward Hank as he entered the plane.
"Ja!" Kurt exclaimed enthusiastically at Hanks question.
"Let's go then before the elf pee in his uniform" Logan's rough voice could be heard from the cockpit. He had already seated himself in the co-pilot seat and was flipping switches and programming the autopilot in preparation for the take-off.
"Wie unhöflich", Kurt snorted and crossed his arms, looking sullen. Gambit smirked and leaned back in his seat, taking in the scene.
"Buckle up!" ordered Logan as he and Hank started the plane. The engines ignited with a low humming that steadily rose. Kurt immediately strapped himself to the chair and then held tight onto the armrests with his three-fingered hands. He had never really liked flying.
"Atleast it's not Wolverine driving." Gambit reminded him with a playful grin, at which Kurt let out a chuckle.
"Watch yourself, cajun" Logan retorted with a growl but didn't care to turn around and look back at them. Gambit just smiled innocently and buckled his seat belt.
Hank disregarded the others and instead pushed the button that opened the hangar doors and lit the runway up to the surface.
"Ready for take-off" he announced leisurely and then pushed the joystick slowly to the right to get the plane rolling so it would line up with the runway. Logan calibrated the dashboard and then put on a headset to check that the airspace overhead was clear. When he had done so he gave a thumbs-up to Hank, who let the engines warm up before pushing the joystick forward. The plane started rolling, gaining in speed every second, soon they reached the ramp going to the surface. The long tunnel went by in a flash and suddenly they were out in the open.
